COACHES BIO
STEVAN (STEV) TOMICH, PHARMD
Stevan (Stev) is a proud graduate of Butler University College of Pharmacy. As a Visiting Scientist Fellow at Eli Lilly and Company, Stev worked in global public policy where he began to develop a broad understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry. During his fellowship, Stev was an adjunct professor at Butler University focusing on pharmacists in industry. After his fellowship, he worked across medical and commercial with rules including US/global marketing and as a medical science liaison. Stev then transitioned to a small BioTech as a Reginal Medical Director of Medical Affairs. Stev was able to leverage his time to learn how medical affairs worked from the field to headquarters. Currently, Stev works at AbbVie pharmaceuticals as an Assistant Scientific Director in medical affairs.
In his coaching role, Stev takes a personal interest in supporting pharmacy professionals to achieve their career potential through balancing both career and personal goals and identifying strategies to maximize pharmacy professionals’ potential. His diverse experience in Industry, personal network, and passion for coaching enables pharmacy professionals to develop and succeed in their careers.
Stev lives in Chicago and outside of work he loves to travel, golf, and attempt to still play basketball and volleyball. Stev also serves on the Young Leaders United Board for the United Metro Chicago as their Engagement Chair, as the VP of Chicago Butler Alumni Steering Committee, and on the Young Business Professionals at AbbVie.
