Roya Behbahani is a highly accomplished pharmaceutical industry leader with nearly three decades of experience spanning Regulatory Affairs, Global Labeling Strategy, Medical Information, and Oncology. She currently serves as Head of Global Labeling, Regulatory Affairs at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, where she leads global labeling strategy across development and commercial programs and works closely with health authorities, including the FDA, to ensure compliant, high-impact prescribing information.

Dr. Behbahani has spent over 20 years specializing in regulatory labeling, with deep expertise in FDA requirements, package inserts, competitive labeling strategy, and cross-functional leadership. Prior to Ultragenyx, she held senior leadership roles at Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, and Novartis, including Senior Director and Cluster Head roles overseeing global labeling strategy for oncology and other complex therapeutic areas. She has contributed to the development and approval of numerous NDAs, BLAs, sNDAs, and major label expansions.

In addition to her regulatory leadership, Dr. Behbahani brings a strong background in Medical Information and Medical Communications, having managed and mentored large scientific teams earlier in her career. She is widely recognized as a subject-matter expert and has been invited to present at FDA conferences, international regulatory forums, and academic institutions. She also founded and directed a post-PharmD fellowship program in Global Labeling Management, with a proven track record of fellows successfully securing industry roles.
