Lan is a graduate of the University of Southern California Pharmacy School. She started her pharmacy career in community retail, working for various chain pharmacies. Throughout her career as a retail pharmacist, Lan managed several pharmacies, including 24-hour and drive-through pharmacies. She was passionate about directly helping patients and thrived in the fast-pace environment. During her years in retail, she was also a preceptor for pharmacy students and was a mentor to other pharmacists. This is where Lan became passionate about helping others reach their pharmacy aspirations.

After several years in retail, Lan made the transition to managed care. She continues to precept pharmacy students, giving them an overview of her role as a clinical pharmacist and insight on making the switch from retail to managed care. Lan takes pride in helping other pharmacy professionals, and her goal is to help those pharmacists find careers they truly enjoy. 

Lan lives in Southern California with her husband and two young children. She enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
