DONNA KOSTEVA, RPH, MED
Donna is a pharmacy career strategist who provides career services to pharmacists from students to retirees to maximize their professional career development. She began her career as a hospital pharmacist after earning her pharmacy degree from Temple University School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia. She later went on to receive a Masters in Counseling Education with a concentration in Career Development from Lehigh University where she then became the career coach to those students pursuing the health professions.
With over three decades of pharmacy and career development experience that spans hospital, retail, long-term care, corporate and academic settings, Donna offers one-on-one objective personalized feedback and recommendations to help revise and refresh one’s existing career to showcase skills and qualifications moving forward. She particularly enjoys strategizing with recent grads, pharmacists who want to move into a different workplace setting, and those looking to pursue a career change. She understands the challenges of identifying career direction and strategic career planning, and…has been there herself.
Donna has landed coverage in various Pharmacy Times publications, writes a career blog, and volunteers her time with the Medical Reserve Corp in Pennsylvania. She enjoys cooking with friends and family, traveling, and getting her toes in the sand at the Jersey Shore.
