I don't share this to scare you, but to share a new reality and why you should take your job search so seriously.
We are in such a tight pharmacist job market that there are more pharmacists than openings and its only going to get worst.
But despite this...if you use the right strategy you will not only find success, but will thrive.
Why?
Because 98% of the other candidates out there are all using the same strategy.
Something called...
Apply and Hope.
That is applying online to jobs you find on websites like Indeed, Glass Door, and LinkedIn.
Unfortunately that just doesn't work anymore. Not only will you be wasting your time (20-60 minutes per application on average), but once the application is submitted, you are stuck feeling helpless.
You're just hoping for a response...
If you've used this strategy, then you can probably relate.
The reason why is because each job posting you are applying to is likely getting hundreds of qualified candidates.
Now days, companies are increasingly turning to technology to help them automate their screening process, by automatically disqualifying candidates.
So, if you don't have the right keywords or enough of the "right" ones, your resume will never even makes it to the hiring manager to review.
